Wittmann

Bed Bases

All the bases in Paolo Piva’s Somnus line offer a wide choice of heights, widths and feet, resulting in amazing freedom to customise your bed to harmonise with its setting.

The range also includes box-spring bases, which are popular in the USA. Here, a pocket-sprung insert is integrated in the frame to form a kind of first mattress on which a second is laid — an approach that lets you luxuriate in incomparable comfort.

Thanks to the selection of quality slatted and pocket sprung bed inserts — also available with mechanical or electrical adjustment — the Wittmann system is bound to include the right bed for you, no matter what kind of sleeper you are.

Mattresses

The new Sandmann De Luxe Pocket combines the very finest materials to form comfortable 30-cm thick padding. Every mattress is built up from many different layers. The crucial, inner core is made up by the pocket springing, which ensures that the support is exactly right for every part of the body. Every single spring is wrapped in a small cotton sleeve to prevent the metal coils from scraping against each other, and all these pockets are connected. The pocket springing also decides the firmness of the mattress, which depends on the thickness of the wire coils. You can choose between super soft, soft, medium and firm. The next layer consists of natural latex, and this is followed by cold foam, which is excellent for dissipating moisture. Then comes a layer of high-pile cotton which has a wonderfully full pile thanks to the raised fibres. Finally there is a cotton layer and the specially woven Wittmann cotton drill used to cover and protect every mattress. Attractive details like loops, thread buttons and cords to secure the mattress toppers complete the picture of opulence.

Mattress Toppers

The toppers, with a choice of five different filling materials — cashmere, merino wool, raw silk, horse hair and anti-allergic lyocell fibre — are an ideal match for the quality mattresses. Their main function is regulating moisture and warmth, but they also meet all hygienic requirements, and together with the luxury mattresses they make for perfect sleeping comfort.

Eaton

The name Eaton is a reference to traditional English life, but the deep-buttoned upholstery has an entirely modern feel, despite its allusions to classic furniture. This highly labour-intensive method of upholstering never ceases to captivate, and is further testimony to the quality of Wittmann craftsmanship.
